SUSTAINABLE ART
We have been in the Alps since our inception. We identify with the natural world as an inspirational space, as we all the home of our event, and for that reason we are dedicated to an increasingly sustainable approach every year of Vision Art Festival.
Starting with a rigorous selection process of materials, we select the prep and paint materials that do the least harm to the environment while providing a lasting image to avoid a need for multiple reapplications.
Our food consumption, recycling and distribution of excess if monitored closely to avoid waste. Spray cans, protections and materials are reused for kids’ workshops.
We take our separation and recycling seriously with organized bins and disposal programs for landfill, compost and recycling – all landing in the proper disposal site.
And as a global policy, we select train and car travel for artists whenever possible, and organize carpooling locally and regionally to avoid excess fuel consumption.
Every year we continue to revisit our impact on the environment and we are dedicated to a festival that honors the beauty of the natural world – not just as a source of inspiration, but as our greatest resource which must be protected.

OUR APPROACH
Sustainable art is important to us, so we select our partners based on several criteria: the impact of the product, where it comes from, and where it will go.
We selected Molotow as our spray partner, not only for their high-quality products, but because they’re the most innovative company regarding the development of green practices. The main office is also only four hours from our location.
Sivacolor is a local paint supply manufacturer just 20 minutes from Crans Monata. All the acrylic paint we use is alcohol and dissolvent-free and has the same impact as an aquarelle color.
Our lift partner, Airnace, is also local, as well as our housing partner, Les Roche, who is at the forefront of sustainable business development in our region.
With our partner, Viva con Agua, we have eliminated plastic bottles from the festival and replaced them with reusable bottles since our local water is of excellent quality.
