Quintessenz

Together, the Hannover and Berlin-based artists Thomas Granseuer and Tomislav Topic constitute Quintessenz. Starting out as students the University of applied Science and Arts in Hildesheim, they have been active as the artist duo Quintessenz for more then 10 years and together they developed a unique an unmistakeable signature style. With roots in both grafitti-culture, chromatics and graphics Quintessenz combine painting, installation and conceptual art.  They both have worked as lecturer at the university as well as in the field of agency-work. Together they find ever new creative approach to conceptual art and exhibition design. Quintessenz is well known for their colorful site-specific art installations in which they reduce their work to the very quintessence of art itself: Color and Form.
